MS Point cards and XBox live membership card recalls?

Hey guys.

So this post is just a brief little food for thought. So I was a work today (I'm a floor supervisor at Kroger) and one of my cashiers tried to ring up a Microsoft points card for a kid, 1600 point to be exact, and it came up saying the item is under recall. Now the kid did say that the Block Buster next door told him the same thing when he tried to buy one there. After he left me and another employee scanned a bunch of 1600 point cards only to get the same error, we then tried a 4200 point card and XBox live member ship cards only to keep getting the error. I don't know what is exactly going on with it, and i couldn't find reports of this happening in other places. Hopefully this isn't happening because of the supposed phase out of the cards. So that's it for today guys, and expect the MTG 2013 post by the weekend.
